とても多いハンダ付けです。
それどころか 良品見本として 作業標準に載せられている会社もあったりします。
「そんなバカな・・」と お思いの方も多いでしょうが、私が、ハンダ付けセミナーで企業を訪
問した際、多くの方が、このハンダ付けを見て「良品」と判断されました。
この写真は、【熱不足によるイモハンダ】なんですが、多くの方が、「たくさん付いているから
強いだろう。」と誤解しています。
電機・電子の業界では、当たり前のように使われているハンダ付け技術ですが、意外と
その本質について理解しておられる方が少ないのが現状です。
一流の電機メーカーであっても接着剤や溶接と混同しておられたりして、誤った解釈の元、
ハンダ付けをされておられる方が多数存在します。
これは、ハンダ付けが『真似をすればそこそこ出来てしまう』ことが要因で、
正しい 『ハンダ付け教育』 を行わないまま現場へ作業者を送り出している
企業側にも大きな責任があります。

Underlying misunderstanding in the soldering trade
Even the technicians from a first-class motor manufacturer couldn’t help
saying, “Well done!” when they first see the soldering as shown in the
photo. Furthermore, some companies even make it a model piece of work in
some performance standards. Many people I met during my visit to some facilities
for soldering training would make the judgment: “Well done” at the first
sight, though still a handful of people will say to themselves, “I don’t
think so.”
It can be seen in the photo that there is cold soldering due to under-heating during soldering operation. However, some people misunderstand that it’s solid enough as “a considerable amount of tin solder is on the soldered spot.”
Although soldering is commonly employed in motor manufacturing trade and electronic trade, only a very small number of people really understand the essence of soldering. Even at some first-class motor manufacturers, it is not rare to see many people mistaking soldering as a cohesive operation and as a result so many workmen misuse soldering at will.
The reason of misusing soldering lies in the misunderstanding, as some
workmen think, “I could do soldering by imitating.” The company should
take the responsibility of the consequences if it sends soldering workmen
to do the job before they have finished the necessary and correct soldering
training.
“Soldering” is different from welding or ordinary cohesion operations.
If asked, “Have you ever received proper soldering training?” some people will reply, “No more than that in the middle school. After that, I have been learning soldering by imitating other people’s performing.” If you are an expert on soldering, can you train others in a correct way?
Sometimes people don’t attach great importance to soldering training, though anyone may be involved in doing soldering. However, since soldering is one of the fundamental techniques in manufacturing, necessary training is a must indeed.
